Question 5
Is there anything you think could be improved/ changed for future workshop events?
  • More collaboration for NGN colleagues prior to events
  • It was a bit dark in the room at times - great venue location though!
  • More presentations
  • Welcome talk might have been useful but thoroughly enjoyed the event and found speaking to other partners very helpful!
  • No - I thought it was a very well organised day, with a clear structure
  • It would have been useful to have the short info on organisation to preselect before the day. I did not get to see and chat with some. That said I did get some help in selecting key people to talk to and was introduced to two. This was great
  • I am not sure what else you could do - it's up to people to introduce themselves and make connections you can only do so much. The friendly NGN team were great at introducing people too
  • Possibly a more structed timing for the day, invite some attendees at a staggered time at the beginning so it isn't such a rush to the stalls at the start
  • Sorry, I did not get to walk around myself as many people came to our stand, so I could only rate the stands I could see
  • I appreciate there were boards you could put comments on, but I was hoping for an introduction to them - a chance for us all to come forward and hear a summary, or could have had a small workshop maybe, in the room after lunch was served
  • Maybe a little more space to walk around in
  • Maybe a guest speaker/topic
  • You have an excellent formula
Question 6
Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
  • We are definitely heading in the right direction
  • Northern Cancer Voices managed to get quite a bit of feedback on cancer service in our region - a few people attending were from the area(s) we serve so thank you for that. We also were able to showcase the impact we have in supporting community mental health and wellbeing even if supporting a cancer patient outside our region. thanks for the opportunity. Loads of food and drinks :-)
  • Thought there was more talks and presentations
  • Great location, easy to arrive by train especially. Venue was great as way lunch!
  • It was a really worthwhile day, that was very well organised. It was fantastic to meet other NGN partners face-to-face, many of whom I had only had the opportunity to meet in virtual meetings before
  • Well organised and made use of the space at Fresh Futures well. A great format, would have been useful to know the format prior to the day as it was new to me
  • Thanks for organising - it will make team meetings more relaxed and productive
  • The end time needed to be better circulated/advertised. After lunch a lot of stands packed up and left, it was deserted by 2pm, but meant to be on until 3/3.30pm. Perhaps another time it could be just the morning, then have a slightly later lunch with time/space for networking and then everyone can go. It didn't need to be on until 3pm
  • Also, on entering the building a few signs/arrows would have been appreciated. I was not convinced we were in the right place.
  • Lunch was very good, and the help yourself refreshments were great and very appreciated
  • To move on with this survey I have had to answer all lines on question 6 and 7, but no N/A option is there and it should be as I never got to those stands. I have selected option 2, but that's only because I have to put something
  • Give the exhibitors chance to network as well - I think they could learn a lot from each other and be helpful to each other
  • Apologies as I did not visit all the stands, so provided a 3 score as the question was mandatory
  • Thank you for inviting me
  • Great range of organisations and lovely to see people in person. Some useful new connections were made and also a fab lunch!
  • On the whole NGN can be proud

  • Email and TEAMs
  • I feel there is a lot of information shared and in a media that is appropriate. Sometimes due to the nature of my work I find it difficult to disseminate the information in a slower manner. Not an issue though
  • More 121 or monthly catch up for support
  • Happy as is
  • We are incredibly proud to be a partner with NGN, via our organisation being a Centre for Warmth and look forward to that relationship continuing until at least 2026
  • Keeping up to date on engagement activities, Invites to local forums
  • Everything is fine
  • Online Podcasts
  • Face to face events are very fruitful
  • I enjoy the events online as the projects and topics included can be very varied, I also like having some face to face as while it is more time consuming it can have a bigger impact
  • I already work for NGN
