Projects that NGN currently have in delivery, which have a health focus and form part of our VCMA2 strategy:
Immediate support (projects that NGN are already supporting):
- Hope 4 U – maternity support (Bradford)
- Noah's Ark – mental health (Calderdale)
- Awaretag – cold, damp homes (Leeds)
- Yorkshire Energy Doctor - Heating for Health
- Maggie’s - (collaborative VCMA project) – advice and information for those living with cancer
- Marie Curie (collaborative VCMA project) – advice and information for those living with a terminal diagnosis
- The Carents Room
- NGN Customer Support Fund – health focus via Communitas Energy (CE) & Foundations for Independent Living Trust (FILT) - Health Through Warmth, funding to support vulnerable households access first time central heating & repair, replacement and servicing of gas appliances where a GDN has not had any intervention
Medium/Longer term support (projects in the pipeline):
- Kidney Care UK – collaborative project supporting patients with Kidney Failure or Chronic Kidney Disease
- Working with NEA – collaborative Core20PLUS5 health focused project
- Mental Health UK – collaborative project supporting people affected by mental health issues
